letters to the editor examples

part1:
Re “Time to Break the Silence on Palestine
(Letters to the editor)opinions of “Martin Luther King and Today’s Israeli-Palestinian Conflict”
part2:

genres of letters to the editor  are polite attitude, opinion ,  and details to support, personal information.

i think the most improtant genre is opinions:
"Michelle Alexander deduces that Martin Luther King Jr. would condemn Israel if he were alive today. I disagree."(from first letter)
"I speak as an American Jew in saying that supporting the Palestinian struggle for rights is about the most “Jewish” thing I can do"(from second letter)
"I agree with Ms. Alexander that some of the current Israeli government’s policies toward its Arab population deserve sharp criticism."(from third letter)

To show the clearly opinion to the whole topic, is really necessary to letter to the editor, usually shows up at the beginning.
